Ann Marie Etergino is a Women for Women International’s USBA and International Board member.
Ann Marie Etergino has been providing clients holistic financial planning, disciplined investment strategies, and proactive personal service for over 30 years. She and her team, the Etergino Group, manage over $780 million, serving a select group of high net worth clients and not for profit organizations in the D.C. area.
Ann Marie has been recognized as one of the "Top 100 Women Financial Advisors" and as a "Top 1,000 Investment Advisors in the United States" by Barron's magazine. Registered Rep magazine has also included her in its "Outstanding Broker" list, and she was named to the Financial Times list of the Top 400 Financial Advisors in 2012 and 2013. Most recently, Ann Marie was named to the Financial Times list of the Top 100 Women Financial Advisors for 2014, and a Top Money Advisor by Washingtonian Magazine.
Ann Marie began her wealth management career in 1981 and joined Tucker, Anthony, Sutro and Company (TAS) in 1984. She served as a member of the TAS board of directors from 1998 until 2001, when TAS became part of RBC Wealth Management. She earned a Bachelor's degree in international affairs from Lafayette College. To help enhance the service she provides to clients, she earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ann Marie is also a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
Passionate about promoting financial literacy, her philanthropic interests include volunteering her time and talents to worthy causes supporting the needs of women and children. Ann Marie is active with the D.C. Leadership Circle for Women for Women International, whose mission is to help women in war-torn areas achieve emotional and financial stability. She serves on the Investment Committee for the National Campaign and the National Cathedral School for Girls Investment Committee. She also serves on the board of Collegiate Directions, an organization that provides comprehensive counseling and tutorial services to first generation college students. Additionally, she works as a mentor to high school and college students on financial literacy. Meeting with small groups on a monthly basis, she advises these young people on saving, budgeting, and using debt wisely, living within their means and the basics of investing. Ann Marie and her husband, Jim Paragamian, live in Chevy Chase, MD and have two children.
