Onyishi Bukola Adeola serves as the Country Director for Women for Women International – Nigeria, where she manages programs that have served more than 72,700 women since 2000.
Nearly 20 years ago, Bukola "Buki" Onyishi joined Women for Women International – Nigeria as a Field Officer where she supported the identification of program participants and collected monitoring and evaluation data for Women for Women International’s activities.
In 2003, she pioneered the Business skills training for program participants in Nigeria.
From 2003 to 2007, she served as the Financial Officer and then was promoted to Finance and Administration Manager where he developed and enforced control procedures, processed payroll and performed internal audits for the country team.
From 2007 to 2016, Buki served as Deputy Country Director where she managed country office operations in the areas of Personnel, Financial & Administration, and Programing.
In 2016, Buki became Country Director for the Nigeria office. As CD, Buki leads and manages all of Women for Women International's work in Nigeria.
Buki holds a BSc. In Management & Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife and she is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria. She has completed various professional development trainings from the Allied Computer College, Nigeria, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and the Business School of the Netherlands.
