Lady Hannah Lowy Mitchell

Lady Hannah Lowy Mitchell serves as an Emeritus Trustee for Women for Women International - UK and a member of the Programmes Committee.

Each year Hannah and her husband Lord Mitchell host a lunch in honour of Women for Women International at the River Room at the House of Lords; this is a key event in the calendar and has become a major catalyst for creating awareness amongst powerful opinion formers as well as a proven opportunity for raising significant funding.

Hannah is a documentary film-maker by profession. She has made films for Danish TV, Channel 4 and BBC2. For the past 20 years she has worked primarily in the not-for-profit sector. She chairs her family trust (The Lowy Mitchell Foundation), which supports educational charities and a wide variety of cultural institutions. Hannah is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Donmar Warehouse Theatre.
